  1. Hi. I am looking for a specific Charlie Brown cartoon strip i saw many years ago. I wonder if you could help me. It is the one in which he is playing baseball and he misses a fly ball because “i had it, but i suddenly remembered all the previous fly balls I mssed before…… the past got in my eyes”

Sense you are a Peanuts expert I was wondering if I could ask for some help.
I am trying to locate two old Peanuts Sunday strips that feature Lucy and another girl laughing Charlie Brown. The strips are very similar , but one ends with Lucy remarking how strange it is that Charlie Brown never smiles or laughs. In the other Charlie Brown come how and hears a radio announcer talking about how wonderful ” the gay melodious laughter of little children is” where upon Charlie Brown kicks the radio. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

  3. Hi – Just stumbled onto your blog and love it — the Peanuts and the Beatles/SY got me started, but I like your novel excerpts too. I’m looking for an old (mid ’80s or earlier) Peanuts cartoon that you might know:
Peppermint Pattie and Marcie are sitting in class.
PP: Marcie, I want to ask a question, but I’m afraid that it’s stupid.
M: Sir, they say the only stupid question is the one you don’t ask.
PP (raising hand): Ma’am, is it okay if we turn in our term papers a year late?
M (falling backward): I was wrong!

My adviser in college had that one on his door.

Hello Jenn, I am trying to find a Peanuts cartoon which has Charlie and Lucy sitting on the kerb. Lucy is giving Charlie all the lollies she doesn’t like. Finally Charlie Brown says ‘How can you stand being so good to me’ (or something similar). Just wondering if you have come across it. Regards. Mark.
